49 U.S. states have marriage laws on the books: whether in support of full equality or against it.
New Mexico has no marriage laws in their constitution with gender specifications....
Today a judge ruled that two counties in New Mexico must begin issuing marriage licenses in their state due to the state not having specific marriage laws.
Judge Alan Malott: "There is no benefit to the parties or the public interest in having this matter progress through a lengthy path of litigation while basic constitutional rights are being compromised or denied on a daily basis."

We might just have gotten a 14th state added to the list of states with full marriage equality!
